The Minister of Public Works and Planning, José Ballesta, attended today on the farm 'The Celdranes' of Fuente Alamo in tree planting organized to commemorate the 'Day of the Trees and Aggregates', which involved children different schools in the region to raise public awareness about the importance of caring for and respecting the environment.
The event was organized by Holcim, a company that has donated 100 tons of cement to build shelters for the earthquake victims in Haiti, in the campaign 'Bricks Solidarity', promoted by the Ministry of Public Works, through Housing and Land Institute.
The ceremony was also attended by the Mayor of Fuente Alamo, María Antonia Conesa.
