After a preliminary study on the evolution of drug laws in the Region of Murcia, such as alcohol, snuff, as well as illegal (cannabis and hallucinogens) among young people, aged between 14 and 18, Fuente Alamo City Council decided to commit to this situation through the development of a Municipal Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction.
Although this plan was approved last year, yesterday was presented in the auditorium of the Agricultural Building Fuente Alamo by the general director of Citizen Services, Drug Dependency, and Consumption, Juan Manuel Ruiz and Drug regional coordinator, Juan Jiménez .
The aim was to know how it has evolved drug use in the Region of Murcia, the adult population aware of the consequences of alcohol abuse and snuff in all areas (social, labor ...) and raise other entertainment options and free time to serve as rejection drugs.
The municipal corporation, AMPAS, teachers colleges and schools, as well as various associations attended the presentation.
The financial contribution made by the Fuente Alamo City Council to carry out the cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Health to the Municipal Development Plan for the Prevention of Drug Addiction was $ 3,000.
