The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the Mayor of Fuente Alamo, María Antonia Conesa, today placed the first stone of the new headquarters of the local police in Fuente Alamo, whose construction has a total budget of 1,498,503 euros, of which the Autonomous Community to provide 500,000 euros.
The new headquarters will be located on a plot of 5,166 meters square, the streets Sapphire and Ruby magnetite within the Plan Parcial "Corvera North ', and it is expected that the works completed by the end of next year.
The facility, which will have a total built area of 1921.73 meters square, divided into a basement, ground floor and one floor in height, equipped with all the elements necessary for the proper performance of police duties such as parking, changing rooms, store, cloakroom, offices and dealer, among other agencies.
The new headquarters of the local police will replace existing units that are in a precarious building for police use, and improve the conditions under which the officials of the current staff of the local police perform their duties.
10 officers of the Regional Public Safety Plan
Fuente Alamo currently has with 23 local police officers, of which ten correspond to Citizen Security Plan and perform their duties in the Special Security Units.
Also, the town also has a vehicle for the said Plan.
Under different annual grants awarded by the Ministry of the Presidency and government to improve policing functions, the City of Fuente Alamo has also acquired for the local police two other vehicles, one mini, for a total of 50,000 euros.
Reverte said that subsidies to the municipalities in the region to improve police functions are intended to help municipalities provide a competitive local police forces, highly skilled and technically prepared to meet in the best conditions for the citizens " .
