From the first day of June to 16th of the month following the artists who want to participate in the National Painting Competition Villa de Fuente Alamo will have to present their work at the House of Culture of the municipality.

Can compete in this competition, a Spanish painter or other members of the European Union with a single original work of technique and theme.

The jury's decision will be made public on Monday, July 20 and the amount of the awards will total 15,000 euros

This contest has been considered by art critics as one of the "most important" in the country.

It participated, the likes of Manuel Cerezuela, Angel Haro, Antonio Medina and Manolo Belz
