The local mayor calls for the need to strengthen the role of the Civil Guard

"The figures show that the Civil Guard performed an exceptional, especially meaningful work in large agricultural and pastoral areas as encompassing the town of Fuente Alamo, and crime spikes at certain points are circumstantial and often end with the arrest of organized gangs who lead the bulk of the crimes, "said the delegate of the Government.
The local mayor, Antonio Jesus Garcia Conesa, welcomed the cooperation of the Government Office, but insisted that there is some social alarm at recent thefts.
"I understand that efforts should be increased and we know that the Civil Guard has mobilized resources, but I wanted to use this meeting to reiterate the need for the post of the Guardia Civil de Fuente Álamo be strengthened," he said.
