Fuente Alamo has become the first municipality in Spain has created a unique school mediation service for schools in which teachers and students mediate each other as equals, for any problems or discrepancies that may arise in the center.
But for Fuente Alamo were able to become the pioneer town of this initiative, students and teachers have had to receive prior training "school mediation" centered on acquiring communicative and emotional management skills to help them solve interpersonal conflicts peers, promoting constructive and non-violent approach.
Centres New School, St. Augustine, Ricardo Ortega and Towns Villa have participated in this course organized by the departments of Education and Social Policy through the Partnership Works Mediation Solvers SLU.
In this first edition have been necessary 70 hours of theoretical and practical training and has had a total of 66 participants
