The Director of Roads, José Guijarro, today announced that the Department of Public Works and Planning intends to carry out immediately, repair RM-E9 regional road, amounting to more than 240,000 euros.
It is a tertiary road that connects the villages of Balsapintada, Fuente Alamo, with Lobosillo, which belongs to the city of Murcia.
"The road carries a heavy traffic due to the strong farming and ranching area, thus requiring replacement firm in order to retrieve the best to travel with comfort and security conditions," explained José Guijarro.
The director explained that "the works of the RM-E9 consist of an extension of the platform, improved drainage of the track and a layer entirely new race."
According to the announcement of tendering of works, published last Friday in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia, their duration is one month.
José Guijarro reminded that this work is a compromise reached with the City Department of Fuente Alamo last October.
