The villagers of this hamlet of Fuente Alamo decided to get down to work to make your church look "as nice as possible."
For eight years, and the mayor flagged pedánea, Ginesa Martinez, have organized all kinds of popular activities such as raffles and bingo home "to go slowly repairing what the house of San Juan has been pointing out," said one of the neighbors the people.
So, all this time, have managed to build a new parish hall and restored the bell tower.
The last work concluded last month with the interior of the Church fully painted, recessed lighting and placement of a Baroque altarpiece in the main altar.
From there, the residents returned to team up to clean the remains of the church work and remain perfect for inauguration.
This took place last Sunday, with the holding of a special Eucharist, presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Manuel Lorca Planes.
Residents are quick to say that their work is not yet complete because we still "are some things to keep fixing and, of course, continue to pay the restoration of the Church"
