The dance fitness craze has set in motion the women of Fuente Alamo to commemorate the International Day Against Violence Against Women.
This is one of the activities included in the program that the municipality develop CAVI all week to say "No to abuse."
The instructor of Physical Activity, Marisa Cifa, brought together nearly two dozen women to salsa, reggaeton and aerobics for two hours.
A formula to let them know that "you can get fit and have fun" at the same time, it helps them build self-esteem through sports.
A must for abused women who "undervalue themselves because they feel abandoned and unloved," says Antonia Solano, CAVI social worker.
Under the slogan "See, hear and not be silent" activities against domestic violence will continue to take place in the coming days with defense classes and tips for dealing with anxiety, among others.
