Every Friday of the month, staff CAVI and Social Services City of Fuente Alamo is moved to the City Warehouse, located in the Industrial "La Candelaria", to meet the weekly delivery of food to the neediest groups in the locality.
In total there will be about 350 families, and therefore, 1,500 people, who will benefit from this division in which there is no shortage of first-order foods such as rice, milk, pasta or cheese.
A food package in which, for the first time also includes beef broth, cream of vegetable and tomato sauce.
The delivery team, formed by a multidisciplinary group belonging to the Center of Attention to Victims of Domestic Violence (CAVI) and the social services department of the municipality is organized to perfection for that beneficiaries are treated with greater agility possible.
These people have previously been selected according to the number of members belonging to the family unit and economic needs of each particular case.
The Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA) under the Food Aid Plan 2011, was responsible for distributing these 31,740 kilos of food through the Red Cross humanitarian organization and the City Council of Fuente Alamo, as beneficiary.
