The Minister of Agriculture and Water in office, Antonio Cerdá, and the mayor-elect of Fuente Alamo, María Antonia Conesa, last night inaugurated the seventh edition of the Cattle Fair, held in the city tomorrow.

The owner of Agriculture and Water stressed the importance of livestock shows, which "reflects a very important sector for the town's economy, and has more than 600 livestock farms.

The naming of 'Farmer of the Year was awarded to Alfonso Galera, for his "dedication to the world of livestock and for being the driving force behind many technological advances and health measures implemented in this sector," said Cerda.
