On Sunday, the municipal sports pavilion again became the capital par excellence of craftsmanship with the conclusion of the National Meeting Lace Embroiderer @ s @ s @ s Artesan organized by the Women of Fuente Alamo.
Since many cities like Elche, Burgos, Alicante, Almeria and from the Regional House of Extremadura in Madrid, next to various municipalities in the Region of Murcia, came the various associations with their work tools and a selection of embroidery and lace made throughout the year.
After 11 am, took place the craft demonstration and practice of ancient and traditional techniques such as green beans, cross stitch, crochet, or roll the Lagartera.
In this last specialty lace highlights the Group's "Blonde", in Fuente Alamo, whose members do not exceed the age of majority.
In this sixth edition, involving a total of 930 women, among them a dozen men were craftsmen specialized in the development of embroidery mills, esparto, palm trees and white miniature chairs.
The day ended with a tasting of three giant paella and cultural visits to some of the participants performed the Municipal Museum and Corvera Aljibón.
