Source Technology Park Movistar Alamo has created a new space for mobile application developers, who can test their programs in a privileged environment in the region.

In addition, other companies, workers and visitors to the Technology Park will make use of new technologies with complete mobility without losing any benefits of high-speed data and voice.

Movistar has been the company responsible for installing in the Technology Park a base station that will cover 3G (UMTS) radio, with band widths much higher than domestic ADSL standards: 21 Mbps downstream and 5.8 Mbps upstream.

Furthermore, if it is required by users this speed may be increased to 42 Mbps automatically.

The facility is also ready for that soon may also offer service 4G (LTE) to end users, making it the Parque Tecnológico de Fuente Alamo in one of the first to offer this service across the board.

The 4G technology will offer speeds above 100Mbps.
