Yesterday, in the hall of the council, the mayor of Fuente Alamo, Maria Antonia Conesa, and the councilman of Social Policy, Francisco Ginés García, launched the campaign "Best Practices in Family Literacy" coinciding with the commemoration of World Day Rights of the Child to be held next November 20.
This campaign is aimed at the general population and especially to those involved in caring for families and children.
"Our objective is to sensitize the society about the importance of creating a suitable family environment in which children's needs, whether physical, cognitive or emotional are met at all times," said the mayor.
The contents of this campaign includes the distribution of informative posters around the town and the issuance of a radio show referred to "emotional needs of children."
This space will be led by a psychologist, social services and the lawyer of CAVI.
According to the councilman of Social Policy, "Social Services have a duty to protect the family as the basic unit of society for the normal development of children and adolescents, especially those who are immersed in a social disadvantage" .
The Family Support program directed by that council is developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Migration in the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
