The places for the XXIX Triathlon of Fuente lamo were sold out in less than five minutes of opening the deadline on Saturday, which confirms the interest aroused by this test, which will be held on May 12 and is a benchmark in the panorama sports, because it is considered a 'hidden national'.
Precisely, international athletes have formalized their registration, as the male and female winners of the last edition Jess Gomar and Sara Prez, respectively;
the Argentine Triathlon champion, Nicols Müller;
or the Venezuelan sisters Joselyn and Edymar Brea.
The circuit starts at the Rihuete beach, in Puerto de Mazarrn, with the swimming test 750 meters away.
From there, the 25-kilometer stretch of cycling begins, which includes the 'Alto de la Cuesta' in Los Ruices (352 meters of altitude), to reach Fuente lamo, a town whose streets will run the final stretch with 5 kilometers of run on foot
The Fuente lamo is considered to be the qualifying test with the highest level in the country as a whole, and is the second qualifying year for the Spanish Olympic Triathlon Championship, which will be held next September 2 in La Corua.
