| Companies such as Relesa have already joined this project, aimed at both entrepreneurs and individuals who may purchase gift cards with credit to spend in the shops of the municipality | The Fuente lamo de Murcia City Council and the Fuente lamo Merchants Association have presented this morning the 'Gift Card' initiative with the aim of promoting and supporting local purchases.

These are gift cards, with a gift balance of between 20 and 200 euros and a period of use of two months, which can be used in the 64 Fuente lamo establishments that are part of this promotion.

The aim is to involve the entrepreneurs of Fuente lamo to give these cards to their employees, although the cards can also be purchased by individuals through a form available on the web http://comerciofuentealamo.es /gift card/ In addition, some points of sale have been established for these gift cards with an amount of 20 and 50 euros.

Both the points of sale and the participating businesses can be consulted on the merchants association website.

In this sense, the Fuente lamo Merchants Association has signed a collaboration agreement with Relesa, a leading company in the municipality, which in this way has already joined this initiative.

Through this agreement, Relesa undertakes to promote activities and promotions in the field of business development in Fuente lamo, through the communication of information on promotions to workers, the offer of special discounts for them and the creation of discount systems for consumption in the Fuente lamo store.

José Antonio Oliver, First Deputy Mayor of Fuente lamo, stressed that "this initiative was born so that money circulates only in the municipality, helping merchants and hoteliers who are having a very bad time during this pandemic." For her part, Raquel Hern ndez, president of the Fuente lamo Merchants Association, thanked the agreement with Relesa that will give these cards to her workers for Christmas.

The gift card is a project funded by the Fuente lamo City Council that joins the initiatives that the council has been developing, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the campaign 'Buy in your locality, has a prize' consisting of scratch cards with prizes that citizens can obtain when making purchases over 20 euros in local businesses that are part of the promotion.
