The Fuente Álamo City Council has formally constituted its Equality Commission, which has begun the tasks to design the 1st Equality Plan for the municipality.
A plan that includes training for all municipal workers and that implies that all areas must take into account the gender perspective when designing and implementing any municipal policy. The Equality Commission of the Fuente Álamo City Council has been made up of the following representatives from the different areas of the council: Juana María Martínez, mayor; José Antonio Oliver, First Deputy Mayor; Georgina Yepes, Head of Social Services, Education and Equality; Isabel Sánchez, legal advisor to the city council; Francisco Javier Martínez, chief of the Local Police; María del Pilar Pedreño, social worker; Ginés Bermúdez, head of sports; José Ángel de la Rúa, assistant draftsman in Infrastructure; María Dolores Pérez, head of the Statistics Unit; Eduardo Isidro García, from the collection area; Daniela Lia, social worker of the CAVI of Fuente Álamo; Josefa Vicente, psychologist at the CAVI of Fuente Álamo; and María del Rosario Peñalver, legal advisor to the CAVI of Fuente Álamo. The working meeting took place in the Agrarian Chamber of Fuente Álamo, complying with all hygiene and safety measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
