Emergency services could not save the driver of a tourist who collided with a truck in a roundabout for access to the A-30 motorway, in the municipality of Fuente lamo.
The 1-1-2 received calls reporting the accident at 00.21 hours.
They indicated that they had collided fronto-laterally a tourist and a truck and that the driver of the tourism was inside the vehicle, trapped and unconscious.
The site was mobilized by Civil Guard patrols, firefighters of the Consortium of Firefighting and Rescue of the Region of Murcia and a Mobile Emergency Unit (UME) of the Emergency and Health Emergencies Management 061.
Upon arrival, the tourist driver (male 67 years) had already died as a result of the injuries received in the collision.
