The mayor of Fuente lamo, Juana Mara Martnez, has been recognized by the University of Murcia in an event that has brought together a hundred 'Relevant Women of the Region of Murcia'.
The act has aimed to raise awareness about gender equality and make women visible in the social sphere of Murcia.
This event has been held within the framework of the EnlazadODS sessions and represents the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of the 'Equality' set by the UN.
Concepcin Pando, Unit for Equality of the University of Murcia, has been in charge of reading the manifesto for equality requesting the collaboration of all people to achieve a better society.
The rector of the University of Murcia, Jos Lujn, in his speech invited the reflection asking "how would this image have been congregating the same positions a few years ago."
The event featured batukadas, concerts and activities in which a great violet human bond for equality was formed.
