The advisor of the acting Presidency, Pedro Rivera, visited today, together with the mayor of Fuente lamo, Juana Mara Martnez, the reconditioning works of the Las Palas-La Manchica highway, which incorporates a bicycle lane, as well as the renovation of the Calle del Castillo, both in the district of Las Palas, Fuente lamo.
The works have been carried out within the framework of the Community Works and Services Plan, amounting to 183,000 euros, of which 155,267 are contributed by the Community and the rest by the City Council.
The works consist mainly of preparing the aforementioned road from Las Palas-La Manchica, and building a bike lane to the football field for greater road safety for people who travel to it.
The renovation of Calle del Castillo improves various aspects of the road such as its pavements, paving ... allowing greater accessibility and optimizing safety with the distribution of three pedestrian crossings with signposts and signs.
