The actress and singer Lluvia Rojo (popular for her participation in 'Cuntame cmo pas') will be responsible for making next Thursday, March 28 at 12 o'clock, the symbolic cut of the second highest artichoke second crop of the plant, organized one more edition by the Artichoke Association of Spain.
The act will have authorities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Region of Murcia, agricultural entities and irrigators, and the municipalities of Fuente Alamo, Torre Pacheco, Cartagena or San Javier.
This symbolic act serves to welcome the second annual harvest of the artichoke, a very important plant for the region of Murcia.
After the event, a cocktail of honor will take place in which the artichoke will be the protagonist, which will be tasted in various dishes.
The partner companies of Artichoke of Spain in the Region of Murcia that support this act (Frutas Esparza, Almerca, Campo de Lorca, Agrodolores El Mirador, Agroter, Alimer, Conservas El Raal, Mercagrisa, Nunhems BASF, Preparations Pevimar, Carthago Plants, Proexport , Soltir and Ultracongelados Azarbe) want to highlight the importance of the crop in the area both in its fresh and preserved and frozen.
