Rivera noted that "all this has been possible through cooperation between administrations, which has led to an investment by the Community of about 160,000 euros, through the Works and Services Plan, which added to the contribution of the City Council results a clear benefit for the neighbors ".

The counselor recalled that the 2017 Plan has been financing in the 41 municipalities of less than 50,000 inhabitants a total of 65 works for the amount of 7.8 million, of which 6 million were contributed by the Autonomous Community, as well as with the Plan of 2016, with an investment of 190,000 euros, was faced at Fuente �lamo for the preparation of avenues and roads, the improvement of the drinking water supply network in El Estrecho and the expansion of the lighting network of Cuevas de Reyllo .

He also stressed that the new Plan of Works and Services of the regional government is already underway, covering the 2018 and 2019 years, and that in the case of Fuente �lamo will mean an investment of more than 382,000 euros in the districts of Balsapintada and Las Palas.

The works carried out at the Casa de Cultura of Fuente �lamo have consisted in updating the finishes of the building and the air conditioning, ventilation and electricity installations.

In addition, it has addressed the improvement of user safety, for which new routes of connection between plants have been established, each of the plants has been equipped with an alternative route of evacuation and a detection and alarm system. , and the sectorisation of the building has been carried out.
