The mayor of Fuente lamo, Antonio Jess Garca Conesa, has visited the Relesa Group, located in Fuente lamo, to know its facilities and the production processes that are leading, which places them as one of the leading companies in the world in manufacturing of metal grids.
The deputy director of the group, Jordi Lozano, and the director of Operations, Juan Manuel Laguna, have accompanied Garca Conesa on his tour.
More than 300 people work in Grupo Relesa and more than half of the staff are neighbors of Fuente lamo and its districts.
"We are 100% production and we have already exceeded last year's turnover," said Lozano, who has highlighted the importance of human capital that makes up Grupo Relesa, as, according to Laguna, "are workers who have grown up with us and they know the company perfectly ".
In addition, the meeting has also raised the main points of action to expand the working area of Grupo Relesa, currently saturated by the high levels of production.
In this sense, the mayor has offered his help to "get the process accelerated" and that Grupo Relesa continue to grow, thus increasing the supply of employment in the area and "placing a local company among the most advanced in the sector at an international level. "
Garca Conesa has been able to know each of the phases through which the materials pass until reaching the final product.
Throughout its history, Grupo Relesa has managed to unify all production at Fuente lamo, which in connection with the headquarters in Morocco, allows them to work in any corner of the world.
"Companies like Grupo Relesa offer an important economic value to our municipality, a fact that helps to develop and strengthen the industry sector in Fuente lamo."
Since Relesa was born in 1982, the business group has grown to become a conglomerate of three companies - Relesa, Lidecor and Galvame -, through which the manufacture of grids is completely controlled.
The flexibility derived from this control, together with the use of innovative techniques, allows it to offer a unique service in the sector.
