On Sunday, the patron saint of the parish fuentealamera of the Strait was crowned by the vicar general of the Diocese of Cartagena, Miguel Angel Prisons, to mark the 200th anniversary of its church.
On this important day of Our Lady of Light was sheltered by the villagers, their 7 Butler, priests throughout the town and neighboring towns as well as their sponsors coronation: José Mateo, steward of the Virgin and Maria Antonia Conesa , Mayor of Fuente Alamo.
Prior to this liturgical act, the patron of The Straits toured the homes of his parishioners during the month of December to reach its ultimate destination: the home of his butler and godfather.
From there, he went in procession of Our Lady of Light to be raised to the altar and newly renovated locker room, getting before the new crown
