The delegate of the Government and the Mayor of Fuente Alamo visit five works of the Local Investment Fund (14/12/2009)

The Government of Spain invests directly in Fuente Alamo 4,162,133 euros between 2009 and 2010 through State Funds

Already paid 70 percent of 672 of the 673 projects presented in the region to the State Fund, 2009

Rafael González Tovar and Maria Antonia Conesa this morning visited five works carried out under the Local Investment Fund in Fuente Alamo.

These actions have had an aggregate of 1,115,208 euros and created 42 jobs.

Visited the works have been carried out in the Gran Via Castillo de Olite in which they are carrying out two projects.

On the one hand, the construction of a potable water supply, the pipeline for rainwater drainage, paving of pedestrian areas and infrastructure for housing and other electrical wiring, installation of new street lighting the avenue (joint investment of 574,789 euros).

The delegate and the mayor also visited the state of the integral action in the district of Villa Conesa, which are replacing existing sidewalks, improving the network of water supply and putting new lighting fixtures (231,647 euros .)

Finally, Gonzalez Tovar and Maria Antonia Conesa Balsapintada have moved to where it is making the closing of the arena and the construction of new toilets at these facilities (204,953 euros) and also the construction of a bike lane and the extension of the public lighting network in the district (103,820 euros).

The Government delegate recalled that the Government of Spain assigned to Fuente Alamo 2,548,631 euros in the current State Fund, for which the City Council presented a total of 16 projects.

In addition, he noted that all the projects is creating 161 direct jobs, of which 68 are newly created and 93 persons within enterprises.

The delegate also informed that the new State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability to be invested in 2010, will involve a further economic boost for the city of 1,613,502 euros.

The Local Investment Fund to date

The Government delegate reported that to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to all municipalities in the region EUR 167,128,741, corresponding to 70 percent of the amount of each project.

In this sense, González Tovar stressed that already paid the first part of 99.85 percent of the projects submitted and only one project still pending, withdrawn by the city of Murcia.
