The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, accompanied by the Mayor of Fuente Alamo, María Antonia Conesa, and the director general of Department, María José Jiménez, today laid the foundation stone of the Public School José Antonio, a new building plant located in an area of growth in the city and replacing the old 1935.
Sotoca Constantine said that "with this new structure will meet the educational needs of the municipality" and added "the work is one the commitments made by the regional government to improve and modernize the elementary and primary schools.
A project that will enhance our network of public facilities, where demand for schooling is necessary. "
The school will have two lines with a total of 18 units, six and 12 Primary Children, a collaborative effort between the City of Fuente Alamo and the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.
The investment has made a payment of 3,829,173.89 euros, of which the Ministry provides 2,300,000 euros and the City 1,529,173.89 euros.
The building will be built on a plot of 12,136.47 meters square, located in a commercial area of the municipality, with a total of 2316.67 meters building square on the ground and 1056.30 meters square on the first floor.
The ground floor is devoted to the module Children and higher classes of primary school.
Will also have a library, dining room, gym, staff room and a multipurpose playground for children and administration area.
