The Regional Confederation of Business Organizations of Cartagena (COEC) and the City of Fuente Alamo have met to address new lines of collaboration and begin with the organization of the XXV anniversary of the Confederation in the municipality in 2018.
The president of COEC, Pedro Pablo Hernndez, stressed the importance of working together with the city council, given that "the main objective is to boost the economy, spread good business practices and promote local business."
Mayor Fuente lamo, Antonio Jess Garca, has been willing to continue with the collaboration agreements and to "help COEC-Fuente lamo in everything that is in our hands for the next anniversary."
"The 25 years that we have been working in Fuente lamo is a sign of the commitment and good work that we have always tried to have since the Confederation, which is why we need the support of the city council in our proposals", commented Eugenio Buenda, president of COEC- Fuente Poplar.
The territorial president of COEC-Fuente Alamo has asked the Mayor that the municipal corporation study a package of tax measures to encourage the creation of new businesses and businesses in our municipality.
In this line, the mayor of Fuente Alamo has positively valued the proposed initiative and will be submitted study to consider its implementation.
Likewise, employers have expressed their concern about the unfair competition of the economy submerged in activities such as workshops, cleaning, hairdressing, etc.
They have requested from the city council all possible collaboration to fight against these activities outside of legality and that cause a serious damage to the entrepreneurs and merchants of the municipality.
The meeting was also attended by the Councilor for Finance and Heritage, Interior, Administration, Employment, Economic Activities and Infrastructures, Emilio Ramn Cabrera Pareja, and Juan Antonio Gonzlez, COEC treasurer.
